A LITTLE HISTORY - Dick Kroeckel was born in Indianapolis, Indiana and began playing piano professionally in Evergreen, Colorado. In the mid-sixties
Dick was summoned to play for Uncle Sam and worked with entertainment tours in places like Ft. Polk, Louisiana. For the next decade Dick played in Georgetown, Colorado.
The 70's found Dick traveling the US on various tours, one being the Kaleidoscope Players in Raton, New Mexico. In 1976 Dick was asked to perform in 'On
The Road' with Charles Kuralt on the CBS Evening News. Later that year Dick appeared in Estes Park with The Al Fike Show.
In the mid 1980's Dick recorded his first album 'Echoes From Lulu White's Mahogany Hall'. Familiar songs on the album were tunes such as 'Maple Leaf
Rag,' 'Wild Cherries' and 'Ragtime Violin.' Since then, Dick has made several recordings. His three newest, 'Once Upon Another Time,' Echoes From Central City,' and
'Grand Ol' Times.'
THE PRESENT - After spending almost 20 years playing in Central City, Colorado in saloons like the Tollgate and Glory Hole, Dick returned as the weekly
entertainment at Harveys Wagon Wheel Hotel/Casino and then the Fortune Valley Hotel & Casino. Dick currently is playing special performances and concerts such as the
historic Paramount Theater in Denver, Kansas City, Chicago and Huston TX.

Dick offers a high quality restoration service for Music Roll Operated Antique Automatic Musical Instruments. He specializes in Ampico, Apollo-Artecho,
Duo-Art and Welte-Mignon reproducing pianos. Also, most regular player pianos and coin-operated automatics.
Dick believes in authenticity, using only original glues, shellac, and the highest quality tubing, hoses and rubberized cloths and leathers obtainable
at this time. The original intent and integrity of the manufacturers must be preserved and can only be done by workmen who truly care about these instruments.
Dick has over 40 years of experience in restoring players and his credits include one piece done for former Colorado Governor Dick Lamm. The piece still
stands in the Colorado Governors Mansion to this day. Dick has worked on pianos from all over the US and is able to look at pianos personally in the Denver Metro area. If
