We are Jay & Laura (Lalu) Johnson. From our studio at our little ranchette located in the Weber Canyon south of the town of Mancos Colorado we have been making unique stained and fused glass art works for more than twenty years. We are inspired by the view of the open valley looking out where we see Lookout Point at the entrance to Mesa Verde National Park.

While not working in the studio, we are kept busy with our two dogs Molly and Ellie, three cats Missy, Finn & Muffin. In the barnyard you can find our Goose Mary and our two spoiled chickens Raptor & Hooter.

We can be visited regularly by Raccoons, Fox, Badgers, Mule Deer, Mountain Lion, and Bear. Above us you’ll find Bald and Golden Eagles, Red Tailed Hawks, Buzzards and Turkey Vultures.
